Diezel The Great is the phenomenal young artist/producer from the “ozone” of Atlanta, Gwinnett County. Originally born in Charleston, South Carolina in September 1986, he spent 7 years as a kid in Japan where his father was stationed and the family settled in Lawrenceville, Georgia after his father retired. After dropping out of high school and earning his GED, Diezel moved to California where he spent 4 years in south central Los Angeles.
Diezel dealt with poverty in every way while living in Los Angeles as an underground artist before finally finding an outlet to release his music. The struggles of family life, fatherhood, and music business sent him on a spiritual journey that he claims is the reason why he never gave up. From homeless to a future success story, Diezel became an all-around artist. He raps, sings, composes, produces, video edits, and is half of the electrifying group A.T.L.A. (All True Lyrical Artist) with Kharma Divinci.
Diezel is also a member of the group the First Family of Da South and in January 2013 became one of the newly signed indie artists to D.C.R. Global Media. In October 2013 he formed a 2 man Rock band called Diezel Fuel where he is the lead singer with guitarist Haze Hagfish. Diezel is a poster child for overcoming adversity whether it’s self-inflicted or not.
